Beautiful little watch

Beautiful little watch. Ive owned a few rotary’s, including a pocket watch engraved 1938. This is a cracker. Timeless elegance and a bit of fun with the 2 faces. Nice weight, this isn’t a cheap watch. Understated but classy. Get lots of comments, it was a 60th birthday present. Which I will treasure

Hi there! Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with the Rotary Revelation. We're delighted to hear it complements your collection.

I just managed to pick one of these up heavily

I just managed to pick one of these up heavily discounted and it was a complete steal. Basically what you get is two Swiss Made with Swiss Movement Quartz watches. With a reverso type design, albeit not with a plain steel case but with another fully functional watch face. However its clear why these seem to have struggled to sell. In short its the lack of documentation that comes with an unusual watch design. If people cant set the time or know how to change the battery, they aren't likely to buy it. But that of course means you can still pick this up very cheap because of Rotarys mistake. All you need to know however is that the watch has two small crowns that pull out to set the time. And there is already a video tutorial on YouTube that shows how to change the batteries. While the company suggests they do it, that is likely very expensive. The other issue is that the strap is easily resized as the adjustment just clips off. The other important thing is that the serial number is on the back of the case, just hard to see because its black. These are all key issues that got in the way of some people enjoying this watch. Apparently its 42mm case but it doesn't feel that way. Possibly because it is quite thick and its jet black.

Hi AK36 - thank you for the 5 star review! We appreciate your feedback on our documentation and will note that going forward.

Disappointed

Trying to adjust time & strap was an utter nightmare,,no handbook & no secondhand, what a terrible watch, gave it away,i was swayed by a name swiss ROTARY i,ll think twice in future a piece of junk.

Hi John,

We are sorry to hear that you had issues with setting the time on your Rotary Revelation.

For reference, the instructions for our watches can be found here - https://rotarywatches.com/pages/watch-care-instructions - please note that the Revelation does not feature a second hand, this is intentional and not a fault with your watch.

Many thanks,
