This 1895 reissue brings a faithful, understated revival of a Rotary archive design. Its 40mm 304L stainless steel case and extended 49.5mm lug-to-lug give it a traditional wrist presence, while the black crosshair dial stays true to the original aesthetic - clean, balanced, and built for clarity. Mineral bubble glass reinforces the vintage character with its subtle distortion and curved profile.
Powered by the dependable Miyota 8215 automatic movement, the watch blends heritage style with everyday mechanical reliability. The exhibition caseback reveals the movement at work, adding depth beneath its otherwise restrained design. A genuine leather strap completes the piece with a classic, comfortable finish, supported by 50m water resistance for daily wear.

Having received the '1895 Automatic' ('1895' in BLACK on a yellowish dial, GOLD PVD Case & buckle/pin, with a brown 'crocodile' leather strap), I am VERY pleased that 'they' (I ordered 2x automatic watches - Seamatic 100 Automatic, being 'the other 1') turned up on the day stated & BOTH packaged correctly, arriving without damage. Both are now 'working & registered', & they look as nice as I hoped they would. I will 'see how they fit on my wrist', later. Now I have 14 Rotary Watches, with 9 registered - 5 others 'too old' to bother with, as no receipt found.
Like the fact of NO DATE, Like the dial colour, like/love (did not think I would though), the 'gold pvd stainless steel case & buckle/pin' on the brown leather strap. As with the Rotary Seamatic 100 Automatic, 'same finish' (gold pvd s/steel) on case and straps' buckle/pin, this arrived very well packaged & protected in transit.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback, we will pass it onto the design team. As this is based on a prior Rotary model, the crosshair dial is a key feature to the watch and is only available with such a dial. We would recommend looking at our Heritage Automatic ref. RGS10004/31 which may be more to your taste.
