Nice looking Watch, Like the Red Bezel contrasting with Blck dial & yellowish indexes!

Very Nice looking Watch, looks better on my wrist than in the pictures. I like wearing a 'tiny' hit of 'red' sometimes, but 'not so sure' about the 'Rotary Branded' wording on the VERY COMFORTABLE Black Rubber Strap. For what I paid for it - quite good value though as I like the black dial contrasting with the 'yellowish-ish indexes'.

Definately NOT 'worth' whatever its' original price was though, since the seconds pointer NEVER hits the minutes/seconds markers. I watched it for at least five minutes, just to check.

For reference, about value:
I have TWO Casio Duro MDV-106 (with the 'Marlin logo' on the dials & case-backs) 'Divers Watches' - 1x Black Dial with Red 'sec's pointer; 1x Blue Dial with polished steel sec's pointer.

BOTH cost UNDER £60 each, & adding to each a much nicer aftermarket Rubber strap (instead of the AWFUL 'wiggly but NOT stretchable' black rubber straps that Casio provided), they still come out CHEAPER than the Rotary Apex 100 by at least £27 - compared to what I paid for the Rotary Apex 100.

'Original price' of Rotary Apex 100 would have got BOTH 'Casio Duro' watches, though a while ago, since the MDV-108? that is now 'back to 200m' (from 50m for the MDV-107), are BOTH, WITHOUT the 'Marlin Logo' & cost nearly double what I paid, still with the same AWFUblack rubber straps. The Casios' that bought, have double the water resistance. Both have screw down crowns, sapphire glass,'sec's' pointers that hit EVERY SINGLE 'min/sec's marker'. Rotary had 100m.

No contest for which is 'better value'. But 'perceived value' at purchase time, isn't everything. Owning & using experience, comfirt & fit, build quality, cost of battery replacement -& whether you can even get one, how long the battery lasts etc, adds to or takes away value.
