Okay, bit of background; I’ve never had a dress watch, i’ve had standard stainless steel watches and I have inherited a fob watch and chain, but I’ve never had a nice dress watch that looks okay on my thick old wrists. That’s why, as a gift to myself after 12 months closing my late Mothers estate, I treated myself to a Rotary. It’s a truely nice thing to own, I told myself I would only wear it for best, but it has snuck out of its box for a few coffees and trips out. I religiously remove it and put it back in its box and don’t wear it for DIY or gardening - I’m a little bit obsessed.
