I actually purchased it for my grandson’s 21st birthday

I actually purchased it for my grandson’s 21st birthday. I have a similar watch myself that I’ve always felt gives never fading classic lines to a gentleman’s formal attire as did my father before me who had a 1930’s version which I think the Astoria is based on always looking elegant with a black crocodile leather strap. My grandson who works in the City where bold engineering lumps on your wrist seems to be the order of fashion at the moment, rather than an elegant craftsmanship timepiece adorning your wrist. He is absolutely thrilled with it. Thank you Rotary for retaining a classic timepiece. There is ostentation and there is ‘Elegance’. I know which I prefer. 👌👍

Beautiful classical style watch.Light and comfortable to wear with 'wrist' shaped casing.Quartz so no daily winding - very convenient.A shame the date window is so tiny.....almost impossible to read but not a deal breaker.Very good value.
