The RW 1895 Pilot references all the attributes that one would find on a vintage tool pilot watch, built to aide a pilot in one way or another, including special features as well as exceptional durability and accuracy. A modern, distinctive pilot watch, featuring a robust 42mm case dimension, and oversized protruding screw-down crown, originally featured on the watch to help pilots in freezing cockpits operate them while wearing gloves.
The movement includes hacking seconds; a feature commonly used on military inspired watches to synchronise time by stopping the movement of the second hand when adjusting the time. Once the time is set, the crown is pushed back in and the second hand resumes its movement.
The utilitarian dial design with large hands and bold numerals are lumed for legibility.
