Dive Watches

Water resistance in watches is rated based on the depth or pressure the watch can withstand without allowing water to enter. This rating is typically expressed in meters (m), atmospheres (ATM), or bars, where 1 ATM or bar equals 10 meters of water resistance. For example, a watch rated at 50 meters (5 ATM) is suitable for showering or light swimming, while a 100-meter (10 ATM) rating is suitable for snorkeling. For serious diving, a watch with a rating of at least 200 meters (20 ATM) or higher is recommended.
