As we approach the launch of the Rotary AW24 collection on the 23rd of September, we had the privilege of speaking with Chris Rackett, our Head of Design, to delve into the latest updates coming to our collections. The AW24 collection introduces vibrant new colourways, complications, and vintage-inspired designs, all infused with the craftsmanship and quality that define Rotary.

Seamatic GMT: A Rotary First

We’re excited to introduce the first-ever GMT complication to the Seamatic collection. Powered by a high-performance Japanese automatic GMT movement, this timepiece stays true to the Seamatic’s signature specs—sapphire glass, 300M water resistance, and a high-grade stainless steel case. The skeletonised GMT hand and bezel allow wearers to track up to three time zones, making it a perfect companion for frequent travellers. The Seamatic GMT will be available in three unique colourways, each with distinctive bezel and hand designs, offering both functionality and style.

Seamatic: A Playful Twist on our Dive Classic

The Seamatic collection, already a fan favourite, is getting a refreshing update A playful new baby blue dial, accented with deep blue hands, joins the collection, offering a new feel to this automatic dive watch. This addition retains the robust features Seamatic fans love, such as the reliable Japanese made automatic movement and rugged build, now with an eye-catching new splash of colour.

Sport: Adding Vintage Charm to the Collection

Rotary’s Sport collection welcomes two exciting new additions this season. First, the Sport Diver, a classic dive watch that combines utilitarian function with sleek form. The matte black dial and coin-edge bezel, coupled with sapphire glass, evokes a refined, yet vintage inspired aesthetic. This model will be available on both a silicone strap and a high-quality dive bracelet, ensuring versatility and durability for any adventure.

Additionally, a more affordable option in the Sport collection debuts in a cushion case design, reminiscent of iconic 70s sports watches. With its retro charm and modern durability, this piece is sure to become a favourite among vintage enthusiasts.

Dress Collection: Understated Elegance

Dress collection welcomes two new watches, each embodying timeless elegance. The first is a rectangular watch that builds upon the success of previous designs. This edition introduces a slight curve to the case and sapphire glass, with a lacquer dial and applied numerals for a truly premium feel.

The second model is a classic rounded dress watch, featuring textured leather straps and a minimal, textured dial. The design subtly shifts with the light, offering a refined experience that combines simplicity with meticulous attention to detail.

RW 1895: A Tribute to Rotary’s Heritage

RW 1895 collection expands with the introduction of the Aeromaster Pilot, a true pilot’s tool watch. Blending classic pilot watch elements such as a precision chronograph movement and slide-rule bezel, this timepiece is designed for both functionality and rugged charm. With iconic colour combinations, this model stands as a tribute to Rotary's heritage while embracing modern utility.

We are also adding a dress-inspired field watch, available with a high-quality leather strap or presidential bracelet. This versatile timepiece bridges the gap between rugged tool watch and formal wear, perfect for the modern professional who values both style and function.
